Virgin Media Superhub and vpn

I was having difficulty using VPN to work from home.  Most internet traffic was fine (skype, email, etc) but names were not being resolved so I couldn’t browse the web or view pages on the intranet.

I found a solution! On the SuperHub configuration pages, (, go to advanced settings, then firewall, then select PPTP Pass-Through

Then connect with vpn, and names should resolve.
